With more than 60 stores in India ,T-Mart launches private lable in their store . Heizzuers for Mens , Pit Stop for boys & HTHP for undergarments segment . 'We want to give value to customers and to do that , we need to give regular products at a very low price . We bring are own private label today to give the best price to the customer . We assure that no other brand can give our quality for such low price on regular basis ', said Mr.Ramkumar (Product Manager) . With T-Shirts from 99 Rs , Undergarments as low as 5 pack fr 149 ,etc., the price range is so low with good quality .

T-Mart Plans 50 More Flagship Store by June 2010 in Tamil Nadu


T-Mart plans to open 50 more flagship store to be opened in Tamil Nadu by June 2010. Talking to Sai Shankar (head of flagship vertical) said , "we are planning to open 50 more stores in Tamil Nadu by June 2010 . The Franchise Vertical is separate and will expand with their own target of 100 more stores in the next year ".30 Stores in Chennai , 20 Stores in Rest of Tamil Nadu to be added within 5 months says Sai Shankar . "We have signed 12 store in the last month alone which will be opened in Coonoor , Kodaikanal , Chennai , Coimbatore & Maduri . We plan to expand more on the Rural market too " ...

Respect Russia - PGC Retail



PGC floats its 100% wholly owned subsidiary in Moscow 'Royal Tex Russia'. The brand Respect Russia will be retailed in Russia and be available in most of the major department stores across Russia and other individual stores . "We concentrate on both corporate and retail business as separate verticals in Russia " , said Ranjan (Director of Operations , Russia - PGC Retail). The company plans to increase its network via mixture of key accounts , distributors and agents .

Babyloons - Infants brand by Respect India



PGC Retail Launches an infants brand for India market called 'Babyloons' . The brand focuses to cloth knitted garments for 0 to 18 months old babies . Initially the brand will be 100% knitwear item with anti-microbial finished garment which is a special wash removing bacteria from the garment to protect the kid . Talking about the pricing strategy , babyloons will not be priced very high like a luxury brand . Ramesh the GM of PGC Retail said "The market has not many players and specially not any big players , we are the first and we want to be a quality player not a volume player in this brand ". Babyloon will soon be available in Tamil Nadu , Karnataka , Mumbai , Maharashtra , Gujrath , Delhi , Punjab & Hayarana .

PGC Retail floats a Joint Venture in Belgium for its retail business . The Name BELIND is derived from - Belgium & India ." BelInd will concentrate on understanding the market initially before opening its own stores in the coming years .BelInd will also provide brand management solution for upcoming brands in Belgium in terms of sourcing and network retailing " , says Aadith.D.Vikram (VC&MD - PGC) . "Upcoming brand like Kokoboom & Nugami are been today served by BELIND . The CEO & Owner of In-Joy will also be the CEO of BelInd ". The business focuses on giving sourcig solution for upcoming brands in belgium and also aid them in setting up retail centres in belgium .
